Description
O Herbário SAMES resguarda o registro de coletas botânicas das vegetações do norte do Espírito Santo e sul da Bahia, especialmente das restingas, afloramentos rochosos e florestas de tabuleiros inseridas numa paisagem em constante modificação. A coleção do SAMES, por conta disso, é uma poderosa ferramenta para o conhecimento sistemático e o entendimento das relações evolutivas e biogeográficas das plantas dessa região do país, notadamente reconhecida como a de maior diversidade de plantas do mundo. Nosso desafio, portanto, além de registrar e conhecer a flora regional, fundamentalmente constituiu em formar cidadãos conscientes de seu papel na conservação da biodiversidade. Isto se resume em nossa lema: Conectar pessoas à biodiversidade.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 8,247 records.
