Description
The Herbarium of the Bioscience and Biotechnology Center of the Northern Fluminense State University Darcy Ribeiro (HUENF) has established itself as a regional reference in botanical research and extension. The HUENF is mainly from the north / northwest Fluminense region of Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil. Most of the collection is the result of research carried out at the Universidade Estadual Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (UENF) and other research and higher education institutions in the State.

O Herbário do Centro de Biociências e Biotecnologia da Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (HUENF) consolidou-se como uma referência regional em pesquisa e extensão botânica. A coleção do HUENF é proveniente principalmente das regiões norte e noroeste do estado do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. A maior parte da coleção resulta de pesquisas realizadas na Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (UENF) e em outras instituições de pesquisa e ensino superior do estado.
