Description
Founded in 1972 and officially recognized in 1975, the RSPF Herbarium is affiliated with the Augusto Ruschi Zoobotanical Museum (Muzar) at the Institute of Health of the University of Passo Fundo (IS/UPF). The herbarium consists of a collection of dehydrated and dried plants, which are identified and preserved, forming a botanical repository. Preserving plant species means safeguarding humanity’s history. The RSPF Herbarium serves as a repository for research specimens and thesis projects from undergraduate and graduate programs at research institutions. It aims to meet the needs of university courses, such as Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, and Agronomy, as well as the general community, by providing: identification of seeds, fruits, and plants; registration and conservation of plants as herbarium specimens (exsiccatae); documentation of plant origin, occurrence, and phenological data; exhibitions in collaboration with Muzar; and Internship opportunities and exchange programs with other institutions.

Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,137 records.
2 extension data tables also exist. An extension record supplies extra information about a core record. The number of records in each extension data table is illustrated below.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. The versions table lists other versions of the resource that have been made publicly available and allows tracking changes made to the resource over time.
Versions
The table below shows only published versions of the resource that are publicly accessible.
